The tour starts from Jaipur in the morning and takes about 330 kms and a road trip to Jodhpur known for its magnificent forts. First attraction of Jodhpur is the Mehrangarh Fort- a huge fortress which has been built on the hilltop to oversee the whole city. This is one of the biggest and the best preserved forts of India and has numerous splendid artifacts, royal like areas and beautiful courtyards. From the roof of the fort, one can see the entire landscape of Jodhpur, especially the blue residentials that distinguish it as the blue city. Next stop will be the Jaswant Thada, a beautiful architectural marvel constructed in marble for Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.
In the evening, visit the impressive Clock Tower and Sardar commercial market to feel the energy of this city. It is the perfect place to buy some souvenirs including Rajasthani fabrics, spices and all kinds of art works.
