Your Hindu pilgrimage Tour (Varanasi, Ayodhya, Prayagraj) 8 days will start with Varanasi. On your arrival in Varanasi, check-in your hotel. You will be free for the remaining day to either visit other ghats or to just rest after the long trip. By the end of the day, get back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.
Second day will start with the Varanasi sightseeing. The first activity recommended for a visit is to take a boat ride in the early morning of the river Ganges for the rituals. Later, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Annapurna Temple, Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple. In the evening, go and witness the extremely beautiful and spiritual Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. We will then leave for the Sarnath excursion. Sarnath tour can be planned for the morning, this place is known from where Buddha delivered his first sermon. This site must not be missed; visit the Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, and Sarnath Museum. Return to Varanasi in the afternoon. You can spend the evening walking around the market or again witness another Ganga Aarti event. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
Proceed from Varanasi by a car to Ayodhya on the fourth day which will approximately take 5-6 hours drive. On your reach, check-in your hotel. Now, take a tour to Ram Janmabhoomi, where Lord Rama was born and Hanuman Garhi, a shrine of Lord Hanuman. By the end of the day, get back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Ayodhya.
Spend the next day visiting the important temples and places of interests in Ayodhya. Here, you should start with the Kanak Bhawan, Nageshwarnath Temple, and Ramkatha Park. Bicycle along the ghats that abound Sarayu River. Overnight stay in Ayodhya.
Now, you will proceed for Prayagraj from Ayodhya which will take approximately 4 hours of driving. Arriving at the destination, take the bus to the hotel and check in. You can keep the routine light on this day to prepare for the further trip. Spend the evening as you wish. Overnight stay in Prayagraj.
Next day, you will wake up with a wonderful sunrise and then head for breakfast. You will be traveling to Chitrakut which will be an approximate 3 hours drive. You will explore the place and then reach back to your hotel in Prayagraj. You will have dinner and halt for an overnight stay.
The first thing that you can plan to see in the Prayagraj (earlier known as Allahabad) is the Triveni Sangam which is the junction point of holy rivers – Ganga, Yamuna and the mythological Saraswati. This place is also famous for its spiritual baths. You can use a trial trek to the Bade Hanuman Temple and the Patalpuri Temple. Visit the Anand Bhavan, earlier home to the Nehru family, and Allahabad Fort area. You will relax in the evening and enjoy a sumptuous dinner. You will halt for an overnight stay in Prayagraj.
