As soon as you reach Delhi, an agent will be waiting for you, and will take you to your respective hotel. Check-in the hotel and relax for a while. Rest of the day is free for you to do things in Delhi if you wish. Spend some time to visit the cultural markets and families or just have some rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.
First thing first, try some delicious breakfast before setting out to explore the historical part of Delhi. Following the same, you will start with the sightseeing in Delhi with the first stop at the Red fort which is one of the architectural wonders of the Mughal Empire. Next on the list is Jama Masjid, one of the biggest mosques in India. Take a drive through the ramps of Raj Ghat – the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi then to India Gate and the President’s House. In the afternoon, Humayun’s Tomb and next to it the tall Qutub Minar, both of which are world heritage sites. In the evening, return back to the hotel for the overnight stay in Delhi.
After breakfast proceed to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. On arrival, check-in the hotel and get some rest. Following which, now you will proceed to visit the Agra fort, a red sand stone built fort which overlooks the Yamuna River. In the evening, visit the Mehtab Bagh garden. In this garden you get a view of the Taj Mahal having a look towards the Yamuna River. Overnight stay in Agra.
Begin your day with an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal, an instance of the world heritage site and one of the seven wonders. See how the monument shines differently as the sun comes out from behind the marble. Thereupon, you will move towards Jaipur; a midway visit to Fatehpur Sikri is much recommended; the deserted city was established by the Mughals and has been nominated as a UNESCO Heritage Site. Proceed to the next destination in Rajasthan, the pink city of Jaipur and relax in the hotel for the night.
This day is for sightseeing in the colorful and majestic city ~ the pink city of India, Jaipur. Start with a visit to the Amber Fort that stands majestically on a hillock which overlooks the Maota Lake. Later, you will visit the beautiful City Palace, which is essentially Mughal-Rajasthani architecture and the Jantar Mantar, one of the oldest cosmological instruments of the world. Following which, you will visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). In the evening go to the local market of Jaipur and purchase some return gifts if you wish. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
On day six, you will proceed for Mumbai next via flight. On reaching, check in the hotel and relax for a while. Rest day is sort of free, you can explore Mumbai if you wish. For sightseeing, you can take a walk on the roads of Colaba or spend evenings on the popular Marine Drive. Overnight stay in Mumbai.
Today, you will have local sightseeing in Mumbai. The day will start with the visit to the ‘Gateway of India’ which is situated near the Arabian Sea. Visit the Elephanta Caves situated nearby which is also known as a world heritage site consisting of rock cut sculptures. Next, you can go for a tour of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus which is a true blend of Victorian Gothic architecture. Witness the sunset view on the prominent Marine Drive popularly known as a Queen’s Necklace. Overnight stay in Mumbai.
Spend your second day in Mumbai rediscovering the city’s modern side as well as its cultural aspects. Go to the Prince of Wales Museum and the calm Hanging Gardens. Next, proceed to the crowded Crawford market for little shopping! You can also go for a Bollywood studio tour in which you will get a glimpse of the most popular Indian movie industry.
