Details
Once you reach Kochi, check-in your hotel and rest for a while. Post that, the driver will pick you up and will take you to explore Kochi city. Kochi is also called Gateway to Kerala. You will visit the historical Fort Kochi, the Chinese Fishing Nets, and St. Francis Church. Do explore the local spice markets here. In the evening, the driver will take you to the Kathakali dance performance at the cultural event.
On day 2, you will leave for Munnar. Munnar is a picturesque hill station. Here, you will visit the tea plantations first. You can learn about the plantation too. Further, drivers will take you to explore the Mattupetty Dam, and Echo Point. You can walk along the tea gardens and enjoy the view with scenic landscapes of mountains.
On day 3, you will leave for Thekkady. Thekkady is a home to Periyar National Park. Here, you can enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake. You will also spot wildlife such as elephants, deer, and birds here.
Next day, you will be traveling to Alleppey. Alleppey is famous for its enchanting backwaters. Here, you should board a traditional houseboat. This traditional houseboat is also called as Kettuvallam. If not a houseboat then you can take a cruise along the tranquil backwaters. Next day, you will leave for Kovalam. Kovalam is a popular beach destination. Here, you can relax on the sandy beaches along with the Arabian Sea, or try water sports activities. At the end, do visit the iconic lighthouse. Post that, you can also explore the vibrant local markets.
