Come back to Varanasi at night. Spend the night in Varanasi.

Day 02: Varanasi to Bodh Gaya

The following day, leave Varanasi and travel by car to Bodh Gaya, which should take five to six hours. Check into your hotel as soon as possible, then unwind for a bit. Visit the Mahabodhi Temple, where the Buddha attained enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree. Take some time to meditate and visit the temple while you're here. There will be lodging in a Bodh Gaya hotel.

Day 03: Bodh Gaya Sightseeing

Explore the region surrounding Bodh Gaya the following day. Honor the Great Buddha Statue, a number of monasteries from different nations, and Sujata Garden, where Sujata presented Buddha with Kheer. Return to the Mahabodhi Temple in the evening to meditate. Spend the night in Bodh Gaya.

Day 04: Bodh Gaya to Rajgir and Nalanda

It will take about two hours to drive from Bodh Gaya to Rajgir. To understand the significance of this site, visit Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture's Peak), where Buddha gave several important lectures. See the excavation sites for the Japanese Peace Pagoda and Venuvana Vihara. To view the remains of the University of Nalanda, continue on to Nalanda, which is approximately an hour's drive away. We will continue on to Patna from here and stop for the night.

Leave Patna and continue on to Vaishali, the day's destination, which is about four to five hours away from Rajgir. See the Buddist Stupa, the Ashokan Pillar, and the remains of an ancient monastery. Explore the location in the Vaishali region that holds significant historical significance for Buddha. Proceed with the journey from Vaishali to Kushinagar, which takes nearly six hours to get there. As soon as you arrive, check into the hotel you have reserved. See the Ramabhar Stupa, which marks the location of the Buddha's cremation, and the Mahaparinirvana Temple, which has a statue of the Buddha in a reclining position. Reflect on the sayings of the Buddha as you close out the day. Spend the night in Kushinagar.

Day 06: Kushinagar to Lumbini

The following day, continue to Lumbini. On the road, the trip would take approximately four to five hours. Proceed to your hotel after completing all immigration and emigration procedures.
