Day 01 : Hyderabad to Delhi

You will start by boarding the flight from Hyderabad to Delhi. On your arrival in Delhi, our executive will greet you and leave for Agra. It will take roughly 3-4 hours’ travel on Yamuna Expressway. On your arrival in Agra, check-in the hotel and rest for a while. Post that, you will start with the local sightseeing. The first one is the emblem of love and the most famous architectural masterpieces of the world — the Taj Mahal. This is created by the Emperor Shah Jahan in commemoration of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Explore the characteristics of the structure in depth, to snap pictures, and in general, to enjoy the silence and the beauty of the white marble edifice. After the visit to Taj Mahal, you will continue to Agra Fort which is a magnificent castle of red sandstone erected in the year 1565, where the great Mughal kings lived. A multitude of constructions such include walls, gateways and palaces facilitate the access to the historical records of the Mughal empire. The day finally comes to a finish with a visit to the Itimad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb which is known as the ‘Baby Taj’ another exquisite example of Mughal architecture. During the evening you can tour the local bazaars which offer marble inlay work, leather products, and the traditional Rajasthani handicrafts. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 02 : Additional Sightseeing and Return to Hyderabad

The second day will begin early, first eating breakfast in the hotel, then traveling to visit Mehtab Bagh which is the Mughals’ planned complex of gardens on the right bank opposite to the Taj Mahal. This is really picturesque and offers a magnificent view of the Taj Mahal to the east early in the morning. The finest area to shoot the Taj Mahal is early in the morning and this place makes the perfect location for such a snap. This will be followed by short leisure time during which you can go and stroll around in Agra or even shop at the local markets. One can buy little models of Taj Mahal, bangles for which Agra is famous for or Petha, a world famous sweet of Agra. Post lunch, you will travel for Delhi. On reaching Delhi, you will be flying back to Hyderabad. When you return back home in Hyderabad by late evening, you will have built your memories of one of the most iconic and adored cities in India. This trip option could be used as a short Agra tour, and give a great insight into the city and its Mughal history.
