When you reach Udaipur via flight, check-in the hotel. Take rest, have food and start with exploring the majestic City Palace. This was constructed over a few centuries and it has got a good mix of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. As a visitor, enjoying the great architecture walking through courtyards, terraces, and vast halls, one is inevitably transported into that royal age. It is located on the shore of Lake Pichola, from the balconies of the palace you can see the beautiful lake.
Next spot is the Jagdish Temple, a glorious temple, built in the 17th Century dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The intricately carved images, design of the pillars and the calmness of the place will make you appreciate the fact that you are in a temple. Following this, now you will visit the Saheliyon ki Bari also known as the Garden of Maidens which is a beautiful garden full of fountains, lotus pool and beautiful marble structures.
In the evening, go for a boat ride in the beautiful Lake Pichola. The lake at night glitters in different shades of orange and adds the charm of the palaces surrounding the waters.
